Dave and I started hosting because we wanted a comfortable place to stay when we came into town, and we wanted to give that same feeling to other people passing through.
Every property has a fully outfitted kitchen. We know, because we've hosted Thanksgiving and Christmas in all three of them. Comfortable beds, good linens, comfortable furniture. It's just a comfortable place to be.
We once packed three suitcases and moved to Dubai. We've moved 26 times in 38 years of marriage. So we know a little about what it feels like to arrive somewhere new and want it to feel like home fast.
These days, we split our time between the Providence House and Houston. So when you come, we might be around to say hello, and we might not. Either way, everything you need to feel at home will be waiting.
